- Purpose of the case: To offer a simple, cheap and efficient treatment for a chronic repetitive dermatitis
- Acne Rosacea is a chronic, face dermatitis located in the central part of the face causing redness, telangiectasia (rosacea erythematosa); sometimes papules (rosacea papulose); nodules and pustules (rosacea pustulosa) and Rhinophima that mainly occurs with men.
The etiopathology is unclear, constitutional weakness of the capillaries, hormonal disorder, dieting, disorder of the vegetative nervous system, gastrointestinal disorder, Demodex folliculorum, and photosensitivity.
- Case studies of Papulopustular rosacea
- There are many treatments and treating schemes that are mainly long and frustrating for patients. Longterm usage of antibiotic therapies and corticosteroid products that give only short lived improvement, additionally mislead both the patients and the doctors, after they cause other conditions such as steroid dermatitis
- All patients had Helicobacter pylori (+++),
- Ordinated triple therapy for eradication of Helicobacter pylori
- One patients was positive for Demodex folliculorum
- All patients used 15% Propolis cream every morning and before going to bed, using the antiinflammatory, photoprotective and antiaggregative (Dejanov) properties of the Propolis.
- Noticeable regression of the changes occurred after one week. The changes fully disappeared within a month.
- The condition did not reappear in the following 12 months.
